Supporting statements for Bernadene Voss

Bubup Womindjeka Family and Children’s Centre
Bernadene has been involved with the Board for Bubup Womindjeka Family and Children’s Centre for several years. Her dedication to the centre and her determination to ensure we are creating better outcomes for the children and their families is evident in her passion and commitment to the centre. Bernadene has supported the centre to achieve some wonderful outcomes such as, reduced speed in Liardet Street, improved conditions to support staff wellbeing, and ensuring the facilities at BWFCC are of the highest standard for the children. We are blessed to have Bernadene on our Board and overseeing the strategic planning for this beautiful and successful family and children’s centre.
Susie Rosback - Chief Executive Officer, Bubup Womindjeka Family and Children’s Centre

Port Melbourne Business Association
Over the past four years I have witnessed Bernadene Voss's tireless efforts on behalf of all of Port Phillip's constituents. Bernadene has always been available to the business association and worked hard to remedy any problem situations we have had. I can't endorse her highly enough. She is prepared to listen but more importantly she acts.
Paul Littmann - President, Port Melbourne Business Association

Beacon Cove Neighbourhood Association
The Beacon Cove Neighbour Association which has a current membership of around 340 members has invited the Mayor Councillor Bernadene Voss to be Guest speaker at The BCNA AGM to be held on Thursday November 17th. Councillor Voss has been actively involved in regular consultations with the BCNA during her term on Council to the benefit of the community.
Eddie Micallef - President, Beacon Cove Neighbourhood Association

The Groves Family
We've found Bernadene to be a committed and responsive advocate and representative of Port Melbourne, both old and new. We've been impressed with the way she and her family have become part of the local community through involvement with residents, business and school groups, sports clubs and other community groups. Her election as mayor - especially for a 1st term Councillor - has given Port Melbourne issues a priority they wouldn't have had, and shows her ability to get other Councillors on side.
