An open letter to the residents of Gateway Ward from the Mayor of the City of Port Phillip

#Vote1BernadeneVoss

Dear Residents,

As the current Mayor of the City of Port Phillip and your councillor for the Sandridge Ward since 2012, I have a proven record of delivering on the priorities that matter most to our community. I am passionately committed to serving our community with respect, efficient communication, consultation, and prompt action.

I ask for your vote at the upcoming election on Saturday 22 October 2016 for the new Gateway Ward so that we can build on what has been achieved since 2012 and continue to grow our community together.

As the mother of three young children and a member of a large multi-generation family, I understand what families, singles, couples and seniors need and want for local facilities, services and amenities.

Professionally, I have a background in international business, corporate advisory and governance work. This ensures that I make informed financial decisions that respond to ratepayer’s concerns.

I am truly Independent and have never been a member of a political party.

Please visit my website at www.bernadenevoss.com.au for further information about me.

Moving forward I will:

• Further improve the financial management and governance of Council with budget transparency and ongoing savings

Improve Planning controls locally with fairness and certainty, as well as advocate for the critical development of Fishermans Bend

• Maintain and improve the 150 services provided by Council

Improve parking and traffic movement

Achieve the Council’s 2020 Toward Zero goals for a more sustainable environment and promote community action to assist

Please contact me with any issues you would like to discuss on 0411 746 888 or email me at bernadene@iinet.com.au

Sincerely,

Bernadene Voss
